Part of the Two African Poets 2010

Returning to the UK for the first time since our 2008 World Poets' Tour, Corsino Fortes (Cape Verde) and Al-Saddiq Al-Raddi (Sudan) read alongside their translators Sarah Maguire and Sean O'Brien.

This was a very special evening being the only oportunity to hear all four poets read together. We were particularly grateful to Sean O'Brien who travelled down to London from Newcastle to take part in the event.

The capacity audience thoroughly enjoyed the evening and we were delighted to hold another successful event at the Whitechapel Gallery in east London.
