A New World of Words: Afghan Poetry and Culture

Part of the Persian Poets' Tour 2012

An audience of ninety people came to Norwich Millennium Library to hear two leading Afghan poets, Shakila Azizzada and Reza Mohammadi, read alongside their poet-translators, Mimi Khalvati and Nick Laird. Sarah Maguire read her translations of Partaw Naderi's poems as, sadly, Partaw was unable to join us for the tour.
