World Poets' Tour 2005, London: Men's Night

At this extraordinary event, the poets Al-Saddiq Al-Raddi, Partaw Naderi and Maxamed Xaashi Dhamac Gaarriye, read their poems to a wildly enthusiastic, capacity audience at the Brunei Gallery, SOAS. Their beautifully translated poems were read by the British poets Mark Ford, Sarah Maguire and David Harsent. It was a remarkable, and unprecedented, night of poetry which, for those of us lucky enough to be there, was truly unforgettable.
