    Despite foul weather and a tube strike, this was a wonderful evening of poetry from Afghanistan by Reza Mohammadi and Shakila Azizzada with music by the Yusuf Mahmoud Afghani Music Ensemble at Leighton House, one of London's most beautiful buildings.

    The best-loved Somali poet, Maxamed Ibraahin Warsame 'Hadraawi', read from his new selected poems with PTC Director, Sarah Maguire, reading W N Herbert's translations. This was the last chance to see Hadraawi before he returned to Somaliland.
