World Poets' Tour 2005
The first World Poets' Tour in October 2005 was an unprecedented series of events that introduced six leading international poets - from Afghanistan, India, Indonesia, Mexico, Somaliland and Sudan - to enthusiastic UK audiences. Their poems were co-translated by distinguished British poets. The tour visited venues all over the UK, attracted a lot of interest in the media and drew a great deal of attention to the PTC.
