LIVE!

The first World Poets' Tour in October 2005 was an unprecedented series of events that introduced six leading international poets - from Afghanistan, India, Indonesia, Mexico, Somaliland and Sudan - to enthusiastic UK audiences. Their poems were co-translated by distinguished British poets. The tour visited venues all over the UK, attracted a lot of interest in the media and drew a great deal of attention to the PTC.

2. World Poets' Tour 2005 Launch Party

   The PTC's World Poets' Tour was launched with a brilliant party at The October Gallery.

3. World Poets' Tour 2005, London: Women's Night

   Wednesday 12th October 2005

   Poets Toeti Heraty, Gagan Gill and Coral Bracho read their poetry for the WPT Women's Night at the Brunei Gallery, SOAS.

4. World Poets' Tour 2005, London: Men's Night

   Thursday 13th October 2005

   Gaarriye, Partaw Naderi and Al-Saddiq Al-Raddi, gave a reading of their poetry at the Brunei Gallery, SOAS as part of the WPT.
