Dr Rahman, a prominent member of the Sudanese community in Manchester, expresses his thanks to the Poetry Translation Centre for arranging this unique event, and to the Wordsworth Trust for hosting us. This was the first time that African and Arabic poetry had ever been celebrated at Dove Cottage.
