Saraba Online Magazine Publishes Chapbook of PTC Translations

Audience at The World Salad launch at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife

We were thrilled when the editors of Saraba online magazine, based in Nigeria, asked us to allow them to create a chapbook of our translations. The resulting publication, The World Salad, featuring illustrations by Eleanor Davis, is now available for free download.

It is, of course, a huge compliment to our work, that the editors of Saraba, notably their poetry editor, Adebiyi Olusolape, would go to great lengths to select and publish our translations, thus introducing our work to lots of new readers, especially those based in Nigeria, and we feel honoured by their interest in our work.

The chapbook features an introduction to the work of the PTC written by Sarah Maguire.

We're extremely grateful for the Saraba team's enthusiasm and hard work and we really wish we could have joined them for the launch party at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.

Published quarterly, Saraba is a literary magazine dedicated to giving a platform to emerging writers. Saraba publishes poetry chapbooks annually, The World Salad being their first chapbook for 2011.
