The PTC Publishes Ten Dual-Language Chapbooks

Travis Elborough displays our new chapbooks, straight off the press, at the WPT launch party.

In October 2008, to coincide with the 2008 World Poets' Tour, the Poetry Translation Centre in associated with Enitharmon Press published ten dual-language chapbooks introducing the international poets who took part in our tours in 2005 and 2008.

In an unprecedented publishing venture, the poems are printed in the original language with facing translations by leading UK poets who have worked closely with expert translators. Dual-language publications are rare enough, but our venture features poetry translated from a unique range of languages: Arabic, Dari, Hindi, Indonesian, Kurdish, Portuguese, Somali, Spanish, Tajik and Urdu.

The book covers and presentation box are beatifully designed by North Kuras of Whitespace Design - responsible for our fabulous website. We are enormously proud of our collection of chapbooks.

Copies of the complete set are only available directly from the PTC. Price £35, the boxed set is only available from the Poetry Translation Centre. To order please email info@poetrytranslation.org stating the number of copies you require and we'll send you a request for payment via PayPal. Not many sets are left, so we strongly advise you to buy the collection before they all disappear!
