'To catch butterflies...'

by Noshi Gillani

I had thought it was easy
To touch the fragrances
The evening vista in the season of monsoon
To capture at home
To capture the star lights in palms

I had thought it was easy
to touch fragrances
jugnus talking in the courtyard of flowers
to lighten up
to keep his memory in my sleepy eyes
decorating it on the roses of the lakes
I had thought it was easy ...

O, but, this was my misconception
‘You have to go far to catch the butterflies'.
