The breeze can change direction

by Noshi Gillani

Did you know?
The breeze can change direction
The birds in their nests in the evening
Sometimes forget to turn back
Sometiomes in spring the tree braches
Before spring the leaves part
If life is spent in someone's paths
They waste the practises in the dust
The strange smile on your lips
Is saying ‘so whats news'
But in the entire story you are new
Do you know?
But, will you know?
The camp of your love and passions
Can be destroyed
Did you know?
The wind can change directions.

    r.k ch. says:

what a unique way of blending the mood of the man and nature, the wind is a wonderful metaphor to poeticise the elusive man whose love and faith metamorphose into just 'dust' ,the poem has an overtone of pathos.
