Meaning Is Not in the Words but Inside You
by Mohan Rana
I dry the words in the rain
And one day only their whiteness is left
The verandah dazzles with emptiness
Then I take them inside
They are the fallen, scattered drops of life
Picking them and connecting them I make an experience
Whose meaning cannot be established
Without reason the falling of the leaves is revealed in them
Some rainy cloud
collides with the boundaries of the garden,
A bridge blocking two banks [see explanation below] comes
in it as if to say something,
Usually very few people are seen on this road
It's not in any map
This road which goes nowhere,
It is only as if as soon as I pick something up while walking
a direction suddenly appears,
like picking up a fallen leaf
because some seed is born somewhere from its falling
