Notes

Stefan's literal version didn't need much adjustment, as you can see. We contracted his first line. We stayed with 'levitation', even though we tend to think of witches as flying rather than levitating, because that's the (odd also in Portuguese) word the poet chose. And we went with 'Because they are' because it's such an implacable statement.
