Wasp on Water
by Coral Bracho
The water surface holds, tense,
for a wasp;
this path is a delta, always moving,
like time, that touch
on the deep quietness
in a brief moment.
Brief, this floating-
time; brief
its spinning journey
in ever-coiling labyrinths,
seething uncertainties, flames,
and transparent
complexity.
