Come see Award-Winning Poet Abigail Parry at the upcoming Free Verse Poetry Book Fair where she will be reading poems by the Cuban poet Legna Rodríguez Iglesias in Spanish and English. Parry worked on these translations with Havana based writer and translator Serafina Vick in 2019.

Legna Rodríguez Iglesias has quickly become one of the most celebrated Cuban poets writing today. She works in a variety of genres, including poetry, short stories, novels, children’s books and theatre. In 2019 the PTC published A little body are many parts, her first full-length collection in English with Bloodaxe Books, with translations by Abigail Parry and Havana based translator Serafina Vick.
