The first World Poets' Tour in October 2005 was an unprecedented series of events that introduced six leading international poets - from Afghanistan, India, Indonesia, Mexico, Somaliland and Sudan - to enthusiastic UK audiences. Their poems were co-translated by distinguished British poets.
