Translation Workshop: Arabic Poetry by Amjad Nasir introduced by Atef Alshaer

Atef Alshaer will be introducing the work of well-known Jordanian poet Amjad Nasir at this workshop. Amjad Nasir’s work has a strong narrative elements and is written in a prose poem style. The workshop will be facilitated by English poet Clare Pollard.

Workshop: Atef Alshaer translating Syrian poet Fouad Mohammad Fouad

Arabic translator Atef Alshaer leads a workshop focusing on the work of Syrian poet Fouad Mohammad Fouad. This workshop will look at completing the translation of Fouad Mohammad Fouad’s poem Aleppo Diary which was begun at a previous poetry translation workshop.
