Karin Karakaşlı is an Armenian-Turkish poet who writes in Turkish and lives in Istanbul. Alongside her poetry, she writes regular columns and opinion pieces for independent media outlets and writes fiction, non-fiction and children’s literature. Her poetry was translated by freelance translator Canan Marasligi and the award-winning UK poet Sarah Howe.

Her PTC Chapbook History-Geography was reviewed by Katrina Naomi in Modern Poetry In Translation, who called it ‘that rare thing – good, political poetry’.
