October Landscape

October Landscape

I
The frenzy of a brutal sky
Has ended.
Green waves ripple
Through the restive fields.

II
White flowers of the sugarcane
Pierce the inky sky
As autumn whispers —
Every poem has its season.

III
With every shaft of light —
Amazement.
With passion —
Words awaken.

October Landscape

I
The brutal celebration of a greedy sky
has ended.
In the agitated fields
now blow green waves.

II
The soft kohua flowers
break the calm of the dark sky.
There’s a season for poetry –
whispered the autumn sky in my ears.

III
In every fold of sunlight,
there is endless amazement.
In passion,
break down the stupor of words.
