Poems

To the Lost/Missing Children

I want to write a letter to the lost children
Hanging on the branches of the mulberry tree
their clothes keep getting smaller
The branches spread
The tree gets thicker and thicker
And once in the years I see the old tree
Bent over its shadow,
The clothes keep turning into shreds
Their memories mix in the wind, dissolve
in water, submerge in the seasons
Become delicate like a forgotten poem,

I want to write about myself but
Start talking about somebody else
My contemporaries grow older and older
One day they'll go missing
Like the lost children one day
one day will go missing - somewhere amidst several days,

I want to write a letter
to the lost children
From the/ my/their lost childhood.
