Sunay Akin

Born in Trabzon in 1962, Sunay Akin is one of the most popular contemporary poets of Turkey. His poems were first published in 1984. After graduating from Istanbul University he published two poetry magazines Yeni Yaprak (New Leaf) in 1984 and Olmaz (Impossible) in 1990. He is a lecturer in Marmara University, Istanbul and a producer of various TV and radio shows.
