Latinx Creatives Workshop

The Latinx Creatives Workshop was set up as part of the PTC’s 20th Birthday Celebrations for Latinx people interested in learning more about translation. The PTC teamed up with Un Nuevo Sol to run a set of workshops translating Spanish, Portuguese and Quechua into English and Spanish into English as a way of exploring and celebrating Latin America’s diverse cultures and languages. Award-winning poet Leo Boix facilitated each of the workshops and was joined by a roster of expert translators including Helen Dixon, Jon Herring, Francisco Vilhena and Constantina Higbee. The sessions lead up to a presentation. At the British Library in July 2024.
